The Council of Representatives held on 15/12/2012 the first session of the second legislative term for the third year under chairmanship of Osama Al-Nujaifi, the chairman of the Council of Representatives. The session included the following: - Presence 170 members. - The Council voted based on the desire of the legal committee in agreement with the Electoral Commission to switch the word (entity) contained in the proposed amendment to the elections law of councils of provinces and districts and sub-districts to the word (list) to be consistent with the applicable technical aspects in the Commission. - The Council voted on the draft law of the Supreme Judicial Council, submitted by the legal committee. - The Council discussed the subject of issuing a resolution from the Council of Representatives to prohibit the internal fighting and prevent recourse to armed force based on a request by MP Haval Khader Saeed.   The session was adjourned until Monday 17/12/2012.
