Extraordinary Session For Budget First Reading

2014-12-25

- Iraqi parliament completed the first reading of the bill of 2015 general federal budget, at an extraordinary session that were devoted to this purpose. On 25-12-2014, headed by speaker of parliament Salem Aljboure. Budget's revenue has been estimated at "99801875000" thousands diners, whereas its expenses has been estimated at "125203110783" thousands diners of 2015 fiscal year expenses.

First Legislative Term of First Year Ends

2014-12-01

The Iraqi parliament has concluded, its first legislative term, first year in the session 34 that has been held on 30-11-2014. After he had extended its term for one month, according to its powers in the rules of procedure. They voted, during the session, on 3 bills of ratification agreements between Iraqi government and governments of Kuwait, Jordan and Armenia.

Elementary Report about Spayker Base Crime

The committee of security and defense and the committee of human rights read, the elementary report about Spayker base crime. In the session 32 of the parliament, the first legislative term, first year which was held on 27-11-2014. Headed by the speaker of the parliament Salem Aljboure and in the presence of 232 MPs. The report includes the following notes

1- Ministry of defense investigated with 42 military officers.

2- Calling another 43military officers  who were wanted to be investigated, but they don’t come yet because of the battles.

3- The official information of ministry of defense showed up that 276 members were killed.

4- There is no database in ministry of defense about the real number of martyrs.

5- The investigation didn’t find that there was an order to withdraw.

6- Confirming that there is cooperation between some of criminals and Daesh, their names have been sent to competent authorities.

7- Dropouts members in Salahuddin governorate have, after Mousl events, circulated that there is an order to withdraw.

8- Inaccessibility to the victims dead bodies places.

9- Most of military officers are participating now in military operations, which obstructed the investigation.

10- Salahuddin operations team leadership couldn’t send the final number of dropouts.

11- Investigation showed that there are military officers still alive.

12- The work of investigative committee in ministry of defense about the issue, is so slowly.

13- The parliamentary committee of Spayker issue will meet again to assess the investigation, activate control on the governmental committee and submit a final report to the council.

Legislative Term Waits For 2015 Federal Budget

The speaker of the parliament Salem Aljboure confirmed, that the parliament has sent more than one request to the government, in order to, send 2015 federal budget to discuss it. Confirming that it is illegal to hold a session in the parliament after legislative term end, except in case of receiving the budget from the government. This was during the session 31 of the parliament, which was held on 25-11-2014.

                             Minister of Oil in Parliament

- The Iraqi parliament hosted, minister of oil Adeel Abed Almahde to review the situation of economy and oil and the agreement between federal government and Kurdistan province. This was at session 30 of the first legislative term, first year of the third term, headed by the speaker of the parliament Salem Aljboure, in the presence of 237 MPs. Which was held on 17-11-2014.

Secret Session To Report Alsajer And Alsaklawea Incidents

2014-11-11

The Iraqi Parliament voted, in its 27 session of the first term of first legislative year which was held on 11-11-2014, on the parliamentary committee report about Alsajer and Alsaklawea incidents. After turning out the session to be a secret one, Mr. Salem Aljboure pointed out that the presidency considered to refer all content of the report to the competent authorities. Especially judiciary, commission of integrity and generalissimo of armed forces. Confirming that decision to make the report a secret one, doesn't mean covering up involved people, but to refer them to the competent authorities.

Refusing a Bill

2014-11-01

 The parliament has outvoted, in principle, on a bill of organizing the rights of Turkmen, this bill is presented by the committee of human rights after its first reading . That was in the twenty-sixth session of the first legislative term of the first year, on 1-11-2014 . In the presence of (215) deputies, the council has also voted on the recommendations of the permanent parliamentary committee of the displaced people affairs .

First Legislative Term to be Extended

2014-10-29

 The Iraqi parliament has extended its first legislative term of the first year by a resolution from the presidency committee , in a meeting which have been held in Wednesday  on 29_10_2014 . Headed by the speaker of the parliament Mr. Salim Aljboure , in the presence of the first deputy speaker Alshek Humam Hamode and the deputy speaker Mr. Aram Alshek Mohammed . The council also voted on the approval of this resolution in its twenty-five session , which have been held next day on 30-10-2014. The speaker of the parliament has explained the resolution and said that the legislative term which have to end on 30-10-2014,it  will be extended for one month , pursuant to the constitutional context . That the time of the legislative vacation is to be engaged with the arrival of the budget to the time of the legislative vacation .
