On August 27, 2025, the Council of Representatives held its seventh session of the second legislative term, fourth legislative year, and fifth electoral session. Presided over by Speaker Dr. Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani and attended by 167 members, the session included the following:
-Approval to add the Ja'fari Jurisprudence Code of Legal Provisions, which is related to the Personal Status Law and was submitted by the Shia Endowment Diwan, to the session's agenda. The council then voted on the code.
