Session Details

 On (7/3/2023), the House of Representatives held its twelfth session of the first legislative term of the second legislative year of the fifth electoral cycle under the chairmanship of Mohsen Al-Mandalawi and the session included:

-Voting on the two draft laws on the accession of the Republic of Iraq to the Convention on Nuclear Safety and the Law of the Joint Convention on the Safety of Spent Fuel Management and the Safety of Radioactive Waste Management, submitted by the Foreign Relations Committee.

-Voting on the draft law on the ratification of the Agreement on Economic, Commercial, Scientific and Technical Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Iraq and the Government of Hungary, submitted by the Foreign Relations Committee.

-Representative Raad Al-Dahlaki read a statement during the session on the security incidents that occurred in Diyala Governorate, which claimed the lives of several innocent citizens, whose number reached 30 martyrs within one month, calling for action to stop the bloodshed of Iraqis and asking the House of Representatives to hold a special session to discuss security breaches in the province, in addition to asking the Prime Minister to assume his responsibility to put an end to terrorist gangs and those who tamper with the security and stability of cities.
