 On (2/10/2023), the House of Representatives held its eighteenth session of the second legislative term of the second legislative year of the fifth electoral cycle, headed by Muhammad Al-Halbousi, in the presence of (206) Representatives , and the session included

 

-Representatives hah rim kamal read a statement on the anniversary of the late President Jalal Talabani’s death, praising his long struggle during which he played a distinguished role in consolidating the foundations of democracy and peaceful living.

-The House read Surat Al-Fatihah in honor  of the former President’s death of the Republic of Iraq, Jalal Talabani.

-Voting on the draft law on statistics and geographic information systems submitted by the Strategic Planning and Federal Service Committee.

-Postponing the vote on the draft law of the National Authority for Nuclear, Radiation, Chemical and Biological Regulation, submitted by the Health and Environment Committees, and Higher Education and Scientific Research.

-Voting on the draft law on the ratification by the Republic of Iraq of the Arab Convention on Preventing and anti-Human Cloning, submitted by the Foreign Relations Committee;

 

Then it was decided to adjourn the session to next Wednesday
