The House of representatives held (27/10/2022) its seventh session of the second legislative term of the first legislative year of the fifth election, under the chairmanship of Muhammad al-Halabusi in the presence of 253 representatives, which included:


-On behalf of the House, Speaker Al-Halbousi welcomed the President of the Republic, the Supreme Judicial Council Chairman  and the leaders of the political blocs to attend the voting session on the granting of confidence to the designated Government of Mr. Mohammad Sha'a Al-Sudani .


- Mr. Mohammad Sha'a Al-Sudani reviewed during his ministerial platform, a set of discussions including, the Ministerial Group handling this phase of crises and conflicts in the world, pointing out that the priorities of the government were to combat administrative and financial corruption, handling unemployment, create employment opportunities for young people, and support fragile groups and low-income poverty and reform of the economic and financial sectors, especially agriculture, industry, banking and private sectors, working to develop services that affect the lives of citizens, overcoming crises and overcoming obstacles, and ensuring that the Government is finding sustainable solutions with the Kurdistan region of Iraq through a genuine partnership based on rights and duties.

- Mr. Al-Sudani stressed the importance of Iraq's human energies, which is inexhautable as oil, stressing the need for Iraq's regional and international location and its important role, expressing His pride for standing in the House of the People to present the cabinet and the Iraqi People's Treaty and the good Religious reference to be of help to everyone in every patch of beloved Iraq.


-Mr. Speaker of the House of Representatives referred to the formation of a House committee headed by the Vice-Speaker of the House, the membership of the House's legal adviser and a number of public directors to study the ministerial curriculum , noting that it has registered several formal and substantive observations on the ministerial curriculum, particularly the service files, and the government's pledge to submit the draft laws to the legislative power.


-Voting on the ministerial platform of the government of Mr. Mohammad Sha'a al-Sudani by an absolute majority of the House members.


-Voting by absolute majority of the grant of trust to the Ladies and Gentlemen the ministers.

- Mr. Mohammad Sha'a al-Sudani, Speaker of the House and members of his cabinet, take the oath of the office in front of the House of Representatives.


-Mr. Mohammed Al-Halabusi expressed his wishes for the success of Mr. Speaker of the House in the performance of his work and the service of the people, noting that the ministerial platform of the Al-Sudani  ensures that the elections of the provincial councils will be held in the tenth month of next year, 2023.
