The Council of Representatives held on (8/4/2026) its sixteenth session of the first legislative term of the first legislative year of the sixth electoral cycle, chaired by Speaker Haibat Al-Halbousi. The session included:
_ Voting on the members of the permanent parliamentary committees of Finance; Integrity; Security and Defense; Oil, Gas and Natural Resources; Human Rights and Women; Migration, Displaced Persons and Community Reconciliation; and the Culture, Tourism, Antiquities and Media Committee.
