The Eighteenth Session

The Council of Representatives holds its eighteenth session of the second legislative term of the first legislative year of the sixth electoral cycle, chaired by Mr. Adnan Faihan, First Deputy Speaker of the Council, today, Thursday 10/9/2026, with (174) members present. The session included

- First reading of the draft First Amendment Law to the Irrigation Law No. (83) of 2017, submitted by the Committee of Agriculture, Water Resources, Marshes and Environment.

- Second reading of the draft First Amendment Law to the Traffic Law No. (8) of 2019, submitted by the Security and Defense Committee and the Finance Committee. 

- Postponement of the first reading of the draft Law on the Regulation of Service Fees in Centrally Funded State Departments and Their Devolution, submitted by the Committee of Services and Reconstruction and the Finance Committee.
