The Council of Representatives held on 9/1/2013 the fourth session of the second legislative term for the third year under chairmanship of Osama Al-Nujaifi, the Speaker of Council of Representatives. The session included the following:   - Presence 233 members. - MP Bahaa Al-Araji, head of the integrity committee and head of the special investigative committee of the deal of Russian arms, read the committee's report, which it referred to the existence of contracts for the Russian arms deal have been signed by initials between the Iraqi side and the Russian side, as well as starting the financial transactions through overtures and correspondences for the Bank of trade of Iraq and to negotiate with the manufacturers of arms under the supervision of the Russian Federal Agency for Armament. - The Council voted to refer the report of the special investigative committee of the Russian arms deal to the Integrity Commission. - The first reading of the proposed law to determine the tenure of the President of the Republic, Speaker of the Council of Representatives and the Prime of the Cabinet submitted by the legal committee.       The session was adjourned until Thursday 10/1/2013.
